Everything SplitPop does
One shared pot for a trip, a flat, a couple or an event, built for the phone in your pocket. Every feature here works today, and SplitPop itself is free.

Money in
What goes in: who paid, how it is split and in which currency.
Several payers
Two cards, one bill. Enter everyone who put money in, with their amount; SplitPop checks that the payers add up to the total before you save.
Four ways to split
Equally, by shares, by percent or by fixed amounts, between everyone or just some. You see each person’s amount before you save, and the rounding always adds back up.
Any currency, both amounts kept
Enter a bill as you paid it. SplitPop records it in the group’s currency at the rate of the day and keeps the original amount and the rate with it. Every reader can see the group in their own currency, as an estimate next to the real amount.
Receipts on the expense
Attach the photo or the PDF to the expense. In a public group it is part of what the link shows.

Settling up
What comes out: the payments that settle the group.
The fewest payments
Balances turn into a settle-up plan: the fewest payments that settle the group, or the original pairs if your group prefers them. A payment records money that changed hands elsewhere; SplitPop never moves money.
Remind, politely
On a payment someone owes you, Remind asks SplitPop to send them a message from you with the amount and the group’s link, if they have an account.

Sharing and people
Who reads the group, and who takes part.
One link, readable by anyone
A new group is public: its link opens the activity, the expenses with their receipts, the payments, the balances and the people. No account, no app, nothing to install.
Guests join when they want to
Reading asks for nothing. To take part, a guest signs in and claims the name that is already theirs, or asks to join as someone new. An admin approves, and a group can close either route.
Private when you want it
Switch a group to private and its link shows only the name and the way to ask for access. You can still publish one single expense on its own link.

Every day
The rest of the week: categories, the chat, the export and your assistant.
Categories and where the money went
Each expense gets a category, suggested from its title. The group sees its spending by category, person and month.
A chat for the group
Talk about the bill right next to it. The activity shows what was added and changed, and by whom.
Your ledger, exported
Owners and admins download a group’s ledger as JSON under Group settings, Import & export, and can import one into a group that has no expenses or payments yet.
On your home screen
SplitPop runs in the browser. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
Use it in ChatGPT or Claude
Connect SplitPop to your assistant and tell it who paid what. It works in your groups as you, with your role, and answers with cards you can act on.
